Our Exquisite Corpse
OUR EXQUISITE CORPSE
With the success of Le Salon, Dylan began her own company, Our Exquisite Corpse, harkening back to the surrealist art game of the same name, made famous by Salvador Dali, where participants created a collaborative collage. In the same vein, Our Exquisite Corpse produces diverse and dynamic work, including the provocative and moving performance of what's this called, this spirit? which appeared as part of ANT Fest at Ars Nova, a live recording of Leah Walsh’s podcast The Compass, and Birdheart. A darkly whimsical fine art puppetry piece created by Tony nominated Julian Crouch and musician Saskia Lane, Birdheart has toured the UK with the manipulate festival, had its West Coast premiere at Z Space in San Fransisco, was featured at the Mind and Life Europe Dialogue “Power and Care” with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Brussels, and appeared at the Close To You puppet festival in Taipei, Taiwan. They won the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation USArtists International Grant in 2016.
